We are committed to creating an environment where every team member feels inspired, invested, cared for, valued, and have a strong sense of belonging.What You Can ExpectThe Associate Product Sustaining Engineer works with direction from senior Engineering staff on projects that focus on legacy product systems and design and development of medical devices.How You'll Create ImpactParticipate in sustaining engineering activities for legacy product systems for commercialized product with guidance from senior engineering staff including:Review and evaluate product non-conformances for incoming legacy product Review and evaluate product complaints Assist with creation or update of post-launch documentation to support global registrations design control documentation for P28 design history files & technical files.Assist in development of testing protocols and assist in the testing process for product evaluationsAssist in documentation remediation efforts including: DHF documentation, risk documentation, inspection plans, protocols, and reports.Update designs and device specifications for legacy productsAssist with 3rd party suppliers, contractors, testing houses, etc. Assist in inspection of current and newly developed medical devicesObserve surgery (live, cadaver, or video) on lower extremity pathology. Document all notes.Other duties as directed by managerYour BackgroundRequires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 0-3 years of experience. Prior experience in medical device development helpful.Familiarity with CAD. SolidWorks preferred.Proficiency in MS OfficeEffective communication and presentation skills with ability to convey information and respond to questions from groups of peersAbility to work in a team environmentTravel Expectations10% of overnight travel.Compensation DataSalary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 USD annually depending on skills and experienceEOE
