Position Overview
The Sales Associate is a customer-facing role responsible for representing Willow Window with professionalism, integrity, and product expertise. This role focuses on educating customers, managing leads, generating accurate proposals, and ensuring a smooth handoff from sale to production. Sales Associates are expected to follow all Willow Window Sales SOPs, CRM requirements, and communication standards while maintaining a high level of accountability and customer satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Management & Customer Engagement
Respond promptly and professionally to all assigned leads, walk-ins, phone calls, and inquiries.
Conduct in-home and showroom consultations to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
Educate customers on window, door, shade, and enclosure options, including materials, performance, lead times, and expectations.
Maintain consistent follow-up with all active and inactive leads per Sales SOP.
Sales Process & Documentation
Accurately prepare estimates, proposals, and contracts based on company pricing structures and approved product lines.
Ensure all required documentation is completed and uploaded to the CRM (Housecall Pro), including:
Signed contracts
Product selections and notes
Photos and supporting documentation
Measure and spec forms (as required)
Clearly explain payment schedules, deposits, change orders, and final payment expectations to customers.
Obtain required customer approvals and signatures before moving jobs to production.
Product Knowledge & Accuracy
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Willow Window’s products, vendors, and installation standards.
Understand limitations and special requirements for products such as custom windows, iron doors, switch glass, trapezoids, shades, and enclosures.
Avoid overpromising on timelines, capabilities, or outcomes; follow approved language and expectations.
Communication & Coordination
Maintain clear communication with the Sales Manager, Production Manager, Field Service Coordinator, and Front Office.
Provide thorough job notes to ensure smooth transition from sale to ordering and installation.
Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide concise updates on active leads, pending contracts, and challenges.
Notify management immediately of customer concerns, scope changes, or potential issues.
Customer Experience & Brand Representation
Represent Willow Window professionally in appearance, conduct, and communication at all times.
Build trust with customers by being transparent, responsive, and solution-oriented.
Support the job completion process as required.
Request reviews, referrals, and yard sign permissions when appropriate.
Performance & Accountability
Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, KPIs, and activity expectations.
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and weekly reporting.
Follow all company policies, SOPs, pricing guidelines, and ethical standards.
Participate in required training, product education, and certifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to learn technical product information
Comfortable using CRM systems, tablets, and digital documentation
Self-motivated with strong time-management skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Experience
Previous sales experience (construction, home improvement, or related field preferred)
Experience with in-home sales or consultative selling
Familiarity with CRM tools or job management software
Work Expectations
Combination of showroom, in-home, and field-based work
Evening and weekend appointments as required
Timely communication and responsiveness are mandatory
Adherence to Willow Window’s dress code, conduct standards, and brand image
Compensation
Compensation structure based on commission.
Bonuses and incentives may apply based on performance
