Analyzes the manufacturing and engineering data to improve quality and reduce cost. Develops manufacturing processes to reduce cycle time and cost. Influences new designs to improve quality, ease of manufacturability, and reduce cost.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTrain personnel on electronic troubleshooting, mechanical and computer skills.Develop and execute cost cutting initiatives.Plan and design manufacturing processes.Coordinate new product introductions into the manufacturing process.Develop and execute process improvements.Obtain feedback from the RMA repair technician and QC to determine the scope of the issue and to help formulate optimal solutionsCreate and review engineering changes.Create and modify manufacturing and test software.Analyze and report on manufacturing and engineering data.Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.Education and ExperienceBS in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 5 years related experienceJob Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.Familiarity with Six Sigma principles and methodologiesKnowledge of computer programmingExperience working with databases and data manipulationFamiliar with test engineering and SMT manufacturingRequires understanding of detail circuit analysisMust be able to troubleshoot electronic circuits to component levelAbility to develop manufacturing processesAbility to work with RMAsKnowledge of PC operating systems and PC system hardware componentsNATURE OF WORKDemonstrated ability to work under tight schedule constraints while maintaining very high quality.Ability to multi-task between major projects and other efforts as required.Quick and concise decision-making capabilityExcellent written and oral English communication skillsSelf-driven individual, requiring minimal supervision.Must be able to lift a maximum of 30 lbs.Able to work with background manufacturing noise.Jira RMA database creation, maintenance, admin role, training with weekly report and data look upHave weekly RMA meetings to prioritize urgent issuesAct as the liaison between MFG & ENG.Salary Range:$113,600.00-$151,400.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
