Qualified individuals, including those with disabilities and Protected Veterans, are encouraged to apply.Job DescriptionTrain new and current Glass America technicians on the correct procedure to repair and replace auto glass in accordance with the AGRSS Standard and also train on the correct procedure for calibrations, both dynamic and static.Key Job ResponsibilitiesConduct training sessions, both one-on-one and group sessions.Demonstrate proper use of tools and equipment such as setting tools, wire removal tools, reciprocating tools, and windshield repair equipment.Field questions from technicians by way of phone calls and emails relating to installations and/or calibrations.Monitor and maintain all Glass America technician safety training and AGRSS and Dupont certifications.Ensure all technician certifications are up to date and new technicians complete their required certifications in a timely manner.Ensure all Glass America Technicians are wearing the correct PPE. Provide PPE to Technicians if needed.Keeps current on the latest advancements in auto glass installation, chip repair and calibration technology.Minimum Education And/or Experience Required For The JobFive years experience in the Auto Glass industry, including hands-on auto glass installation experience with a demonstrated ability to manage complex repairs and calibrations.Advanced knowledge of OE calibration systems and procedures.Proven ability to work independently while supporting and elevating team performance.Ability to present constructive criticism in a polite and helpful manner.Excellent communication skills.Required Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesMust be efficient in the removal and reinstallation of fixed glassMust have a current certification with AGRSS, Dupont, and successfully passed the Glass America Certification Exam.Proficient with computers and technology, including but not limited to, Gmail, Excel, Word.Other Requirements Travel, Physical Requirements, Etc.Must be able to travel two or three weeks a month.Must possess a valid driver’s license.Please note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
