Project Manager - Environmental

Peak Environmental, a Nova Group, GBC company, is looking to add a Project Manager to our environmental consulting company to address our expanding workload in the areas of environmental site assessment, investigation, and remediation. This is a unique opportunity for growth. Since 1997, Peak Environmental has been providing professional consulting services for our clients. Currently our project load includes in-situ bio-remediation and in-situ chemical oxidation of chlorinated hydrocarbons; support of large-scale redevelopment projects; litigation support; soil vapor intrusion and indoor air quality investigations; multi-plume groundwater investigations and remediation of fuel oil related discharges; soil investigations and remediation; multi-phase recovery of inaccessible contaminants; all stages of ISRA compliance, Preliminary Assessments, and Phase II investigations to name a few.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrated knowledge of NJDEP programs/Site Remediation regulations and guidanceThorough understanding of SRRA/LSRP FillingsProven history of managing complex projectsMust have the ability to manage client expectationsComplete projects on time and on/under budgetOversee junior staff members/field personnelAttention to detail and comprehensive documentation of project developmentsTechnical Report Structuring/WritingQA/QC of DocumentsQualificationsMinimum of a B.S. in a related field such as Environmental Geology, Environmental Science, Geological Sciences, Chemistry, or EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in the New Jersey environmental consulting fieldOSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER CertificationExcellent computer skillsExceptional writing and verbal communication skillsUS Citizenship or Legal Resident StatusValid Driver’s LicenseNova Group’s good-faith estimate of the salary for this position at the time of posting is 72,000 – 95,000 USD.
