This position blends high-level operational management with hands-on leadership, requiring strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to drive both guest experience and financial results. The Bar Manager is accountable for the success of the bar across all areas, including service standards, team development, inventory, cost control, and vendor relationships. While actively managing the floor, this role ensures the bar operates efficiently, profitably, and in full alignment with the overall vision of the restaurant.Leadership & Floor ManagementOperate as a floor manager, supporting overall restaurant operations while maintaining a strong presence at the barLead, coach, and develop the bar team, including Bartenders, Bar Leads, and Bar BacksHold team members accountable to service standards, performance expectations, and operational proceduresPartner with other managers to ensure alignment across all areas of serviceGuest Experience & Service StandardsUphold and drive exceptional hospitality standards at the bar and throughout the restaurantActively engage with guests, ensuring a high level of service, consistency, and overall experienceAddress guest concerns and feedback with professionalism and urgencyFinancial & Operational OversightManage bar labor, scheduling, and staffing levels to align with business needs and cost targetsOversee beverage cost, including inventory control, waste reduction, and product usageReview and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper cost managementAnalyze sales and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvementInventory & Vendor ManagementMaintain full ownership of bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, counting, and storageBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and brand representativesNegotiate pricing, manage product selection, and ensure consistent supply of all bar productsBeverage Program DevelopmentLead cocktail program development, including menu creation, seasonal updates, and innovationEnsure all beverage offerings are aligned with the concept, brand standards, and guest expectationsTrain and educate the team on all beverage products, techniques, and service standardsOperational ExcellenceEnsure the bar is consistently clean, organized, and operating at peak efficiencyMaintain compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulationsOversee opening, closing, and ongoing operational procedures for the bar
