As a Vertical Sales Specialist in Fluid Solutions, you will be assigned to a territory and responsible for driving profitable product and or assigned account revenue. In partnership with local territory Outside Sales Reps, you will coordinate large projects and act as a subject matter expert for Fluid Solutions products. You must drive the total value proposition of Fluid Solutions including the full breath of “contain transfer and treat” products and applications.What You'll DoWork with the field sales team to discover projects related to sewer bypass, and dewateringUtilize SalesForce.comAttend pre-bid meetings and work closely with contractors bidding workAttend pre-construction meetings and communicate project details to operations managementAssist in designing a system solutions with support from branch operations, field sales, and engineeringMentor Outside Sales Reps on bypass/dewatering Fluid Solutions offeringsAct as a liaison between customer and operations Other duties assigned as neededRequirementsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and educationMinimum of 7 years sales and or sales and operations management experience in Fluid Solutions products and applicationsWell Point Dewatering system experience where applicableKnowledge of chemical compatibility/temperature and effects on rental equipmentProficiency with SalesForce.comProficiency with MS Office (specifically Word, and Excel)Strong sales and customer focus/service skillsStrong compression of business accounting principles and P&L profitability; business acumenValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.Why join us?BenefitsWe don’t just “talk the talk!” We’re an award-winning company (recently named a Glassdoor Best Place to Work in 2026) that truly cares about our people - That’s why we offer best-in-class benefits and perks that will support you and your family.
