We’re seeking a seasoned Tax Preparer / Accountant with strong QuickBooks skills and 5+ years of experience in both tax and accounting. This is a full-time, in-office role dedicated to tax preparation and general accounting support across diverse client portfolios.Key Responsibilities Tax Preparation (Primary Focus) Prepare tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, S-Corps, LLCs, and PartnershipsLead review of prepared returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Respond to tax notices and client inquiries professionally Provide proactive tax planning and strategic guidance Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines Bonus:Experience with Non-Profit, Estate, and Trust returnsAccounting Support (Secondary Focus) Perform reconciliations and maintain financial records in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) Prepare financial statements and assist with payroll and sales tax filings Review financials for consistency and accuracy Support clients with bookkeeping and complianceQualifications 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and accounting Proven ability to lead tax review and manage client projects EA or CTEC-Registered Tax Preparer preferred Experience with Lacerte tax software a plus Strong QuickBooks skills (Online and Desktop) Excellent communication and organizational skills Spanish bilingual is a plusBenefits Competitive salary: $62,000–$80,000/year (DOE) Health insurance Performance-based bonuses (Tax Season & Holiday) 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Supportive team culture and growth opportunitiesSchedule Monday to Friday, in-office (Covina, CA) Opportunity to earn overtime and work weekends during tax season.Build Your Future Here Enjoy competitive pay, performance bonuses, and real opportunities to grow with a team that values your expertise.
