Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience from Grill to Fry positions. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive kitchen atmosphere.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilized
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service
Perform food handling tasks with attention to detail and quality
Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Knowledge of food service best practices and food handling procedures
Restaurant experience preferred but not mandatory
Solid kitchen experience with an understanding of culinary operations
Excellent knife skills for efficient meal preparation
Commitment to maintaining food safety standards in the kitchen
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour
