This role is essential to creating a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients while supporting a high-performing clinical team.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in medical scheduling, patient intake, and customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and check in patients with professionalism, warmth, and efficiencyManage complex scheduling for multiple providers, including new and follow-up appointmentsCoordinate new patient onboarding, including registration, insurance verification, consent forms, and EMR entry (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus)Answer multi-line phones, triage calls, and route messages appropriatelyMaintain smooth patient flow by collaborating closely with clinical staffCollect co-pays, verify insurance eligibility, and process payments accuratelyEnsure accuracy of patient records and maintain strict HIPAA complianceProvide general administrative support to ensure efficient daily operationsQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a medical front desk or similar role requiredProficiency with scheduling and patient registration systems (experience with eClinicalWorks strongly preferred)Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team membersKnowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization processes preferredReliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality at all timesWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceSupportive, team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to grow within a dynamic and expanding practiceThis is a full-time position with patient-facing hours of:Monday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMTuesday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PMFriday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PMOur clinical support team begins opening procedures 30 minutes prior to the first patient arrival each day. These hours are supported by a collaborative five-person team with varying shift start and end times to ensure appropriate coverage throughout the day.All candidates must be available to work any scheduled shift within the practice hours in order to be considered for employment.
