Our Lead Healthcare Analyst will work collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional partners to design and develop analyses to measure clinical outcomes and client performance on key metrics through quantitative analysis of utilization and healthcare cost data. Performs other duties as assigned.Our value-based partnerships offer continued growth opportunities within the team and across the organization.Key AccountabilitiesEvaluate and assess membership and claim data to identify trends and variance opportunities that will lower cost, improve member outcomes and improve overall quality of careReport findings and recommend areas to focus on to internal customers including physician and HR leadershipManage multiple projects at one time with different stakeholdersProvide strategic analytic leadership to internal account and physician service departments as well as external client partnersWork independently and within a team to complete objectivesIndependently investigate issues that may arise on multiple tasks or projects with limited involvement from othersCreate customized reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics, including benchmarking data against industry standards, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders at various organizational levelsCollaborate with business teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies that improve patient care and enhance financial performanceStay updated on emerging data technologies and analytics tools to enhance analytical capabilitiesDig into varying requests on an ad hoc basisRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree healthcare analytics, mathematics, statistics, or an analytic related degree, or equivalent work experience in a related field7+ years of work experience beyond degreePreferred Qualifications3+ years' experience using SQL, SAS or Snowflake programming experienceStrong proficiently in data analysis tools and visualization techniques/software (e.g. QlikSense, Power BI, TableausComfortable presenting to executive level stakeholdersProficiency in MS office specifically MS ExcelDemonstrated ability to design, evaluate, and interpret complex data sets, with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiencesExperience working both independently and collaboratively in cross functional teams, engaging with individuals from diverse professional backgroundsJohn Hopkins ACG Grouper, Milliman HCG Grouper, Symmetry ETG GrouperExperience working with claim/employer group dataPython/RDemonstrated capability to present key findings of an analysis effectively to a non-technical audience both written and verbalDemonstrated problem solving skillsAn internal drive to understand root cause and an inherent curiosity to dig into dataAbility to function in a fast-paced, dynamic culture is important for success in this roleThis position is a HUB role which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI office to conduct heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadershipThe full salary grade for this position is $102,100 - $175,100. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $102,100 - $138,605. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
