We are seeking a dependable and team-oriented Cook to join our healthcare food service team. This position is responsible for preparing and handling food according to food safety standards, standardized recipes, portion controls, and therapeutic diet requirements while supporting our mission of providing exceptional, compassionate healthcare.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve quality meals following standardized recipes and production sheetsMaintain food safety, sanitation, labeling, and storage standardsPerform a variety of cooking and baking techniquesAccurately prepare therapeutic and modified dietsAssist with inventory, ingredient ordering, and kitchen cleanlinessTaste and evaluate food quality prior to serviceProvide excellent customer serviceAssist with dishwashing and other kitchen duties as neededQualificationsPrevious cooking or food service experience preferredKnowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentFlexible to work weekends and holidays as neededJoin our team and help make a difference through quality food service and compassionate care.
