Overview We are seeking a skilled Polisher to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing surfaces to meet quality and industry standards, ensuring smooth and polished results on various materials such as quartz, quartzite, granite, marble and more. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment are highly valued. The position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to operate specialized tools and machinery. Responsibilities Perform surface polishing on granite, quartz, quartzite or other materials using hand tools and polishing equipment Operate necessary tools and machinery Assist with other tasks in the shop as needed Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects to ensure quality standards are met Support installers in the field as need Follow detailed work instructions Job Knowledge (Will train the right person) Slab shop experience background Knowledge of solid surface materials Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment during busy season Good physical condition with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials daily This role is essential for ensuring high-quality finishes on our projects while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
