Speech-Language Pathologist

Compass Therapy Solutions is currently hiring Speech Language Pathologist for the 2025-2026 School year to join a school district in Springfield, MO for a contract assignment. Provides direct services to families and children; conducts consultation with other providers. As an SLP with us, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with communication disorders. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs and goals. Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to improve communication. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, educators, and other professionals, to ensure educational benefit and progress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, IEPs, and progress notes. Qualifications: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP): Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Clinical experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology. Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
