Warehouse - Donation Attendants

Job Description This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.To receive donated resalable items at Donate 2 Impact. Presort and ensure that items are operational/secure for transport to stores. Requirements Meet and greet customers Communicate pleasantly with donors while receiving donations Distinguish unsellable items and graciously decline them Thank customers for their donations and offer a tax receipt Keep records of donations Keep building organized and clean Keep trash and boxes in appropriate location Maintain a positive attitude, regardless of weather and conditions Sort and pack donations • Able to lift heavy items • Open and close building on time Be responsible and safe in own environment Sort and Pair shoes Assist in drive-thru as needed Accept incoming donations from donors Sort thru donations and separate accordingly Assist a driver in picking up product from other locations Schedule Full-time varying schedule: Monday – Saturday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM , Sundays 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Qualifications Less than High School education or up to one-month related experience, excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, friendly personality, trustworthy and responsible, ability to lift 35-50 lbs, continuous standing, bending, stooping, and frequent lifting. Working Conditions The job requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, use of hands to fingers on tools or controls; reach with hands and arms, climbing stairs, balance, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions, which may include wet or humid conditions and outdoor weather conditions, with no heat or air conditioning. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
