Other duties may be assigned:oversees/supervises daily work activities with personnelplans work activities in accordance with construction schedule and budgetsassigns manpower to work activitiesadheres to schedule objectives, cost and qualityensures personnel have resources to perform tasks (equipment, tools, material)prepares/submits project status and progress of all NC projects weekly at task levelparticipates in review of project labor and material costscoordinates material needs at job sitereads and analyzes charts, work orders, or production schedules to determine production requirementsinterprets specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workersconfers with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within crafts or between crafts, getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks (to include sub-contractors)coordinates production with other supervisors, trades, quality assurance and managementrecommends or implements measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiencyconfers with superintendent to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievancesexamines and inspects work progress, equipment and construction sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are mettrains workers in construction methods and operation of equipmentprovides guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performanceevaluates team performance, assists in employee performance evaluationsidentifies deficiencies and potential problem areas and initiates corrective actionmonitors performance to safety policiescomplies with organization and departmental administrative proceduresassists in development and implementation of production procedures and processesrequisitions materials and suppliessuggests and initiates personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, and hiresother responsibilities and duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
