Water/Wastewater Project Manager
Location: Multiple offices in Michigan | Salary Range: $115,000+

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Lead strategic marketing and pursuit efforts for water/wastewater projects
Identify and develop new client relationships and market opportunities
Oversee proposal development, budgeting, and contract negotiations
Contribute to long-term business planning and market expansion
Project Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and team performance
Ensure compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular project reviews and performance evaluations
Project Execution
Oversee engineering managers and multidisciplinary teams
Set and monitor project goals, deliverables, and quality benchmarks
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
Manage financial performance, invoicing, and change orders
Team Leadership
Mentor and develop junior staff and project engineers
Support training, performance feedback, and career advancement
Participate in recruiting and team-building initiatives
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
Professional Engineer (PE) license
10+ years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure
Proven success in project delivery and client development
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
Master's degree or PMP certification
Experience with large-scale municipal or utility projects
Familiarity with regional and federal regulatory frameworks
