This is a high-activity outbound sales role focused exclusively on prospecting and booking discovery calls for the closing team. You will be targeting small businesses with no website or an outdated/low-quality web presence, qualifying them as potential clients, and handing them off to one of the three owners to close the deal. Your job ends at the booked call — the owners handle everything from there.
What You'll Be DoingCold calling and cold texting local and national small businesses identified as having no website or a poor online presence
Delivering a concise, compelling pitch that speaks to the business owner's pain points around visibility, credibility, and missing customers online
Qualifying prospects based on budget awareness, decision‑maker status, and interest level
Booking confirmed, scheduled calls directly onto the owners' calendars
Following up with prospects who didn't answer or showed initial interest but didn't commit to a call
Maintaining accurate records of outreach activity, responses, and booked appointments in a CRM or tracking sheet
Hitting daily and weekly activity targets (calls made, texts sent, conversations had, appointments booked)
What You're NOT Responsible ForClosing deals or discussing detailed pricing
Onboarding or servicing clients
Building or delivering any web services
Making promises beyond what the discovery call covers
Who You AreComfortable making a high volume of cold calls and sending cold texts daily — rejection doesn't rattle you
A clear, confident communicator who can get to the point fast
Persistent and organized — you follow up without being asked
Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to quickly identify whether someone is a real decision‑maker and move on if not
Bonus: experience in appointment setting, SDR work, or any phone‑based sales role
CompensationCommission‑based structure tied to closed deals
$500–$700 earned per client that closesfollowing your booked call
High‑volume prospecting = high earning potential; the pipeline is unlimited since most small businesses still lack a solid web presence
