This is a hybrid career opportunity based in Charlotte, NC.Responsibilities of the Foreclosure Paralegal:- Manage the full lifecycle of residential and/or commercial foreclosure files from referral through post-sale- Prepare and file foreclosure pleadings, notices, motions, affidavits, and related legal documents- Coordinate service of process and monitor deadlines to ensure compliance with South Carolina foreclosure procedures- Order and review title work; identify lienholders and interested parties- Communicate regularly with clients, borrowers, courts, title companies, and opposing counsel- Schedule and coordinate foreclosure sales and hearings- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in the firm’s case management system- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including investor and client guidelinesRequirements of the Foreclosure Paralegal:- At least 2+ years of foreclosure experience preferred- North Carolina experience- Strong knowledge of foreclosure procedures, timelines, and court filing requirements- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload- Strong written and verbal communication skills- High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines- Paralegal certification preferred but not requiredCompensation and Benefits for the Foreclosure Paralegal:- Salary is commensurate with experience- Health insurance- Dental insurance- Vision insurance- 401(k)- Paid time off
