Systems Engineer III

Akkodis is recruiting for a Systems Engineer III for an aerospace manufacturer in the Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA locations. These are onsite contract to hire positions with pay range of $40 an hour to $65 an hour depending on education, experience and location.SkillsThe Systems Engineering team supports multiple programs and disciplines. We are seeking talented, flexible engineers a desire to learn varying skillsets. As a member of this team, you may:Collaborate with internal teams to define and document mission objectives, system requirements, and operational concepts.Support requirements traceability and verification planningTranslate customer and mission needs into actionable engineering solutions, ensuring alignment with technical and programmatic constraints.Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and customers.Develop system-level integration and verification plans, conducting end-to-end testing to validate mission requirements.Coordinate with subsystem teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges, ensuring mission readiness.Support mission operations teams during testing and real-time mission execution. QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of applicable experienceDesire to develop both subsystem domain knowledge and Systems Engineering skillsBachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related fieldS.
