ENG & EHS Manager

Overview In this role you drive site engineering, capital projects, and compliance to ensure critical systems run reliably in support of patient care. You will lead a cross-functional engineering team, manage CAPEX from concept to commissioning, and safeguard regulatory and quality standards. You’ll champion continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and digitalization to enhance site resilience. This position offers impact at scale within a mission-driven, safety-focused environment. ResponsibilitiesLead site engineering activities across utilities, facilities, maintenance, and equipment reliabilityEnsure availability and performance of critical systems (HVAC, power, water, compressed air, networks)Serve as primary technical escalation point for complex engineering issuesOwn CAPEX projects from concept to commissioning and manage on-site contractorsEnsure changes follow approved change control and validation processesMaintain engineering systems compliant with local regulations, corporate standards, and quality requirementsSupport audits, inspections, and regulatory discussions related to engineering and facilitiesSupport business continuity planning and risk mitigation for critical infrastructureLead, coach, and develop the site engineering team and foster a strong EHS cultureManage engineering budgets (OPEX & CAPEX) and drive cost optimization while tracking uptime and project deliveryDrive continuous improvement, reliability engineering, preventive maintenance, and digitalization initiatives Key requirementsBachelor in a relevant field with 6+ years of experience, or MBA/MS with 5+ years, or PhD/JD with 1+ year, or MD/DVM with any years of experienceStrong background in supervision or management within the pharmaceutical industryProficiency in Lean and Six Sigma toolsRobust people management and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teamsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesleadership and people managementeffective communicationstakeholder engagementLean and Six Sigma expertiseGMP knowledge and regulatory complianceCAPEX project management
