Candidate must have 5+ years of experience practicing in the labor and employment area as well as an active California Bar license. We want our associates to succeed and thrive.This position may be fully remote, provided the candidate resides in and is licensed to practice in California. A hybrid schedule is also available for those who prefer a combination of in-office and remote work.A successful candidate will be motivated, capable of running cases (with partner input, as needed) including the responsibility to interact with opposing counsel and our clients, draft and argue motions, conduct depositions and other discovery, participate in trials, and other important tasks. The candidate must be a driven team player with excellent litigation, writing and persuasive speaking skills, and must possess a strong academic background and exceptional research skills. The candidate must also be detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic.The types of cases the successful candidate will work on shall encompass class action and/or PAGA matters, advice and counseling, investigations, revising handbooks and other policies, and similar work.The firm offers competitive compensation and a full benefits package including eligibility for a year-end discretionary bonus. The annual salary range is between $180,000–$230,000 depending on experience. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
