SALES ASSISTANT Weare looking for the right person to help sell the Highgate brand platform topotential residents and their family members. We specialize in assisted living and memory care. Highgate SeniorLiving's mission is to devote ourselves to help each resident live a life ofpurpose and each of us plays a crucial role in doing so. We operate communitiesin the western US and are seeking the right Sales Assistant to join ourteam in selling our assisted living and memory care lifestyle. This position includes assisting in the sales process, helping newresidents move in, participating in marketing events, knowing the competitiveenvironment, conducting tours with prospects, and eventually learning the jobof the salesperson for the community. The successful candidate will be an organized and detail-orientedindividual with a positive and self-motivated attitude. You must have strong communicationand computer skills. Excellent time management skills are important along withrelationship building, persistence, flexibility, and adaptability. SKILLS NEEDED: Strong organizational and communicationskills Ability to engage with people inperson, virtually, via the phone and electronically Good customer service skills and theability to intuit Proficient in MS Office suite and ableto learn database management software Ability to sell a service or an idea Capacity to develop strong workingrelationships Ability to adapt/respond quickly tochanging requirements and effectively balance priorities to meet deadlines An understanding or the willingness togain an understanding of the various forms of dementia and how residents withdementia can continue live with purpose RELATABLE EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in sales is preferred Prior experience in marketing and networking with others is helpful Past roles in which you have been amulti-tasker, balancing customer service while problem solving will help you besuccessful in this position Opportunities from your past whereyou have demonstrated kindness, patience, and compassion to varying groups andindividuals Familiarity with the seniorpopulation and how aging can affect a person will be important QUALIFICATIONS:1- At least 21 years of age 2- At least 2 years in customer serviceor other role that interacts with people 3- Current negative TB test 4- Ability to pass criminalrecord/background check 5- Willing to work some weekends and/orevening hours 6- Valid driver's license with aqualifying driver abstract 7- Be efficient and exercise good timemanagement skills 8- Must be able to work wellindependently with little oversight 9- Must have a track record of top-notchorganizational abilities and communication skills As an organization we offer our team members agood benefits package, the ability to be heard, have their opinions aboutthings count and the opportunity to innovate. Our compensation package will be flexible for this role based on thecredentialing, tenure and skill sets each candidate brings for consideration. Thewage range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. Prior experience working with seniors ispreferred.
