Server AssistantThe Server Assistant supports the service team by ensuring the dining room is properly prepared, maintained, and reset throughout service while providing attentive support to both guests and servers.We believe in guiding the adventure, saying yes to possibilities, and working together as one team. With excellence at our core and a touch of magic in every detail, we create experiences that are authentic, elevated, and unforgettable.Essential FunctionsMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standardsPrepare and set all dining areas for serviceSet tables before, during, and after service according to standardsPerform side work assigned by SupervisorOffer water to all seated guestsCarry out service of bread and butter to guests at the appropriate time (if offered)Clear plates and silver between courses and prep set up for the next course to be servedMake sure area surrounding table and chairs are clean and orderlyMaintain cleanliness of all work areas, China, glass, etc., throughout the dayComplete closing duties, including restocking items, polishing silver and glassware, etc.Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professionalWelcome and acknowledge all guests everywhere, alwaysBe available to run food, bus tables and re-set dining sections in all areasAddress guests` service needsSpeak with others using clear and professional languageDevelop positive working relationships with fellow staff and support team to reach company goalsProvide service to always expected levels while on propertyPerform other reasonable job duties as requested by SupervisorsQualificationsExperience: Previous experience as a server assistant, busser, or in a similar support role preferred, but not required. Hospitality or restaurant experience is a plus.Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail to ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, and reset quickly. Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Speed and precision needed to support seamless service.Attributes: Friendly, positive, and professional attitude. Willingness to take direction and help wherever needed. Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Reliable and punctual.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 40 pounds (e.g., trays, bus tubs).
