Lee Road · Greece, NY Maintenance Shift Manager Direct Hire Schedule: 12-Hour Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 2-2-3 Rotation Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Salary Range: $87,300 - $97,700 / year About the Opportunity: Lidestri Foods is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Shift Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical backbone of a fast-paced, high-speed food manufacturing operation at the Lee Road facility. If you're a natural problem-solver who thrives on keeping equipment running, people safe, and OEE climbing, this is your shot to lead a team that directly powers production. You'll be the go-to for everything from emergency repairs to preventive maintenance strategy, partnering closely with Production Supervisors, Sanitation, and Project Engineering to keep the plant moving safely and efficiently, 24/7. This role leads a team of 5-6 maintenance technicians (Mechanical/Electrical generalists, plus dedicated Controls Techs handling PLC-level work) on lines running 200-1,000 jars per minute. You'll spend most of your time on the floor, with roughly 10-15% in office/admin work. Key equipment includes depalletizers, conveyor systems, 30,000-gallon batching tanks, fillers, cappers, labelers, casers, palletizers, and X-ray inspection systems. "2-2-3 rotation" refers to days on/off - not a rotating shift time. This is a consistent night shift. What You'll Do Lead and organize maintenance staff across a 7-day production schedule Serve as point person for emergency repairs and new maintenance requests Partner with Production Supervisors on equipment set-ups and facility issues Audit, coach, and train maintenance staff on best practices Lead LOTO, Confined Space, and Hot Work Permit compliance Drive preventive maintenance strategy via CMMS Collaborate with Project Engineering on design/installation projects Manage schedules, performance reviews, and team development What You Bring AAS or BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 2-5 years leading maintenance in a 24/7 continuous operation 5+ years in food, beverage, pharma, or high-speed CPG manufacturing CMMS proficiency; strong Microsoft Office skills Lean Manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma experience preferred CPMP and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus Comfortable with floor conditions: wet/slippery areas, temperature variation, standing, climbing, lifting to 30 lbs.
