The district is directed by a five-member elected board of education and facilitated by a district superintendent with the assistance of the Central Office staff. Each school is guided by a School Based Decision Making (SBDM) council consisting of the principal, three teachers elected by the teaching staff, and two parents elected by the parent population. The school district employs 160 certified and 185 classified staff to provide optimal learning opportunities for all students.
