We develop and manage artist/designer-led projects rooted in equity, accessibility, and a progressive approach to public art delivery. Our work spans large-scale installations and integrated architectural features, supporting artists, institutions, cities, and counties from concept through fabrication and installation.We are seeking a highly skilled, craft-minded drafter with design experience to join our studio. This role is ideal for someone who can translate ambitious art and design concepts into clear, buildable documentation across a wide range of materials and scales.Our studio operates at the intersection of art, architecture, and fabrication, and this role is critical in moving projects from design intent to constructed reality.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with world-renowned designers, artists, architects, and engineersAssist Principals and Project Manager with shop drawings, design communication, field coordination, and tracking open items through resolutionDevelop drawing sets for planning, permitting, and engineering coordinationProduce detailed fabrication drawings across materials (metal, wood, mixed media)Generate highly resolved details: weld callouts, joinery, fit-up, and material specsTranslate conceptual and schematic designs into constructible solutionsIterate quickly within a fast-paced studio environmentQualificationsProfessional degree in Art, Architecture, Industrial Design, or other relevant fieldProficiency in Rhino and AutoCAD (Revit a plus)Experience producing construction documents and fabrication drawingsStrong understanding of materials, tolerances, and assembly methodsAbility to clearly detail connections, assemblies, and complex systemsImplement redlines accurately and efficientlyMaintain organized digital project files and drawing standardsSupport consultant coordination and documentationStrong drafting fundamentals and attention to detailComfortable working across art, architecture, and fabricationEligibility to work in the USWhy This Role is DifferentThis role goes beyond drafting, offering the opportunity to see drawings and artistic intent translate into built work in real time.
