Job Title: Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA)Location: Ohio (specify city/region or hybrid/remote status)Employment Type: Full-TimeReports To: Clinical DirectorPosition SummaryThe Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA) provides evidence-based behavioral assessment and intervention services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders. The COBA is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans that promote skill acquisition, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and improve overall quality of life. This role requires adherence to Ohio state regulations, ethical standards, and best practices in behavior analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs)Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to guide treatment decisionsProvide direct and indirect behavioral services in clinical or schoolTrain and supervise staff, caregivers, and other stakeholders on behavior support strategiesMonitor client progress and modify interventions as neededCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, case managers, medical providers, and family membersMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and organizational standardsEnsure compliance with Ohio laws and regulations governing behavior analytic servicesParticipate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional developmentQualificationsRequired:Certification as a Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA)Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related fieldExperience working with individuals with autism spectrum disordersKnowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practicesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSkills & CompetenciesBehavioral assessment and intervention planningData-driven decision-makingCrisis management and de-escalation techniquesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsEthical judgment and professional integrityCultural competence and trauma-informed careWork EnvironmentMay include office, clinic, community, school, or client home settingsRequires travel within assigned service areasFlexible schedule may include evenings or weekends based on client needsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and move for extended periodsMay require lifting (up to 25 lbs) and implementing physical interventions when necessaryAbility to respond quickly in crisis situationsCompensation & Benefits (Customize as needed)Salary up to $116,000Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysContinuing education and professional development supportMileage reimbursement (if applicable)Equal Opportunity Employer StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
