Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Urgent Care Provider (NP or PA) - Full Time Greater Oklahoma City, OK SSM Health is seeking afull-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join ourbusy Urgent Care clinic in the north Oklahoma City area . The clinic is conveniently located near major highways and offers a team-based practice environment. Position Highlights: Schedule:14 twelve-hour shifts per month, typically resulting in a 3-4 day "weekend" most weeks due to shift requirements Operation:Clinic operates 7 days a week Staffing:Dedicated support team including Medical Assistants and Office Assistants On-site Services:X-ray and laboratory services available Patient Population:Treat patients of all ages Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care) Required Qualifications: Active, unrestrictedOklahoma NP or PA license Board-certified or board-eligible PA: NCCPA NP: ANCC or AANP ( FNP required ) ActiveDEA(or ability to obtain) BLS certification Ability to treatpatients of all ages EHR proficiency Willingness to work occasional weekends Preferred Qualifications: Urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast track experience Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care) Experience withinitial X-ray interpretation Community Description:Oklahoma Citys metro area, long known for its western heritage and cattle stockyards, is experiencing an exciting period of revitalization and growth.
