Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Engineer in Coral Springs, FL.Summary:As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights to our organization. You will work closely with various teams to extract actionable information from data and communicate your findings using Power BI. Proficiency in MySQL is also essential for querying and manipulating data from our databases.Responsibilities:Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, including databases and external data repositoriesWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract relevant data from MySQL databasesCreate data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI to communicate insights effectivelyContinuously monitor data quality and ensure compliance with data privacy regulationsStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualizationCoordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlinesAuditing database regularly to maintain qualityCreating systems to keep data secureWork closely with Business Intelligence to provide data for analysisREQUIREMENTS:Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in MySQL and Power BIStrong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulationProficiency in data visualization tools, especially Power BIPythonAWS (Amazon Web Services)RedshiftEC2Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelingExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and presentation abilitiesDetail-oriented with a passion for data accuracyAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentDesirable skillsets for enhancing and expanding the capabilities of our chatbot include:FlowiseAIVector DBGraph DBDockerDesired Concepts:RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)Data WarehousingMachine Learning/AI ConceptsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
