Screen Repair Associate Part-TimeE&H Ace Hardware is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Screen Repair Associate to join our team. This role focuses on repairing and fabricating window and door screens, performing small equipment maintenance, and providing excellent customer service. What You'll Do:Screen & Window Repair ServicesRepair and rebuild window and door screens accuratelyFabricate new screen frames to customer specificationsCut and reglaze glass windows as neededProvide detailed repair quotes and explain services clearly to customersCommunicate repair updates and timelines Small Equipment Maintenance & Additional ServicesSharpen chainsaw chains, mower blades, and other small toolsEnsure safe and proper use of sharpening equipmentMaintain a clean and organized workspace Inventory Management & OrderingOrder and replenish screen repair materials and suppliesMaintain adequate inventory levels and communicate needs to management Customer Service & Sales SupportGreet and assist customers with knowledgeable advice on repairsAnswer phone inquiries regarding repairs and pricingAssist customers in selecting materials for custom screen and window solutions Store Operations & General SupportMaintain accurate records of repairs and transactionsEnsure signage and pricing accuracy for screen repair servicesAssist with general store maintenance and merchandising as needed What You'll Bring:High School diploma or GED equivalent requiredPrior experience in screen repair, glass reglazing, or small equipment maintenance preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong time management skills to ensure efficient repair turnaround Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsFrequent bending, stooping, and reachingAbility to climb ladders and operate equipment with proper training Why Work at E&H Ace Hardware?Competitive pay and benefitsCareer development and growth opportunitiesHealth, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits for full-time team membersEmployee discountsSupportive, local, family-owned business culture About Us:E&H Hardware Group operates multiple Ace Hardware stores and service teams throughout Ohio, proudly living by our core values of Local Relationships Built on Trust.
