Zaden Technologies is hiring Data Scientists to support a defense logistics analytics program. This is an on-site role you'd work in person with the mission team, building the demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and anomaly detection models that turn a flood of logistics data into decisions.Role Responsibilities:Build demand forecasting models using classical time-series methods (ARIMA, exponential smoothing) and machine learning approaches (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost)Develop inventory optimization solutions using linear programming and mixed-integer techniquesBuild anomaly detection capabilities using clustering (k-means, DBSCAN) and autoencoder techniquesApply statistical modeling to support operational decision-makingDeploy models to production and monitor, validate, and recalibrate them against real performance standardsHelp deliver dashboards and decision support through modern BI and analytics platformsWork on-site with the mission teamCommunicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersRequired Qualifications:An active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) at time of application (firm requirement, U.S. citizenship required)A Master's degree in an applicable field and 5+ years of applied data science experienceHands-on depth in Python, R, TensorFlow, and PyTorchAvailability to work on-site in the greater Tampa areaStart date in early OctoberPreferred Qualifications:5+ years of applied data science experienceExperience in logistics, supply chain, or readiness analyticsDemonstrated experience deploying models to production (not just research or prototyping)Dashboarding experience in Power BI, Tableau, or similar toolsStrong documentation skills or experience delivering knowledge transfer/trainingOptimization experience (linear programming, mixed-integer)What we offer:Robust startup environment with a variety of projects to work onGrowth paths and endless opportunities to learn and developPaid holidays and flexible paid time offEmployer contributions toward 401k50% coverage of health insurance for employees and their dependentsPIbee42c95e847-26289-41257405
