Senior Consolidation Accountant
We're partnering with a leading global entertainment and media company to hire a Senior Consolidation Accountant. This is a high-impact role sitting at the center of a complex, multinational finance function — and it's built for someone who takes real ownership of their work.You'll be a key contributor to the production of accurate US GAAP consolidated financial reporting, with broad exposure across external reporting, intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and equity accounting. You'll also provide technical leadership to peers and drive process improvement across the team.This is not a quiet role. Expect meaningful volume, real deadlines, and an environment that rewards people who show up ready to work!Core Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements — including detailed supporting schedules and workpapersMaintain consolidation accounts including intercompany balances and eliminations across multiple business unitsExtract, map, and reconcile trial balances across multiple accounting and reporting systemsPrepare and validate support for system uploads, reconciling source ledgers to consolidation toolsPrepare quarterly reporting packages and business unit balance sheet / income statement analyticsSupport preparation of financial statement footnotes and other external and internal reporting requirementsContribute to special projects including new accounting standard research, ERP/system implementations, and process enhancementRequirementsBS in Accounting (master's a plus)Active CPA license or CPA in-process preferred, will consider experienceMinimum 2 years in public accounting or financial reporting — TMT, financial services, or other industries welcomed Strong command of US GAAP, including cash flow statements, equity accounting, and foreign currency translationExperience with multinational organizations and intercompany eliminationsAdvanced Excel skills — pivot tables, index-match, and comfort building complex workpapersSolid understanding of internal controls and how to design and maintain themCommunicative, detail-oriented, and able to juggle competing deadlines without dropping the ballMust be able to work remote!
