Aquaveo is committed to innovation and delivering comprehensive solutions in earth sciences and water resource management.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position located in Provo, UT for a Hydroinformatics Engineer. The Hydroinformatics Engineer will design, develop, and maintain advanced water resources software and decision support tools. Responsibilities include building scalable solutions, improving data accessibility and interoperability, implementing OGC-compliant services and workflows, and enhancing existing workflows and web frameworks. The role also involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to translate technical requirements into practical, high-impact solutions.QualificationsProficiency in programming languages such as Python, and JavaScriptExperience applying AI/ML-assisted approaches to problem-solving, code generation, or workflow optimizationStrong background in hydrology and software developmentExperience working with water modeling software tools or GIS applicationsExperience analyzing and processing hydrological dataStrong technical communication skills and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teamsMaster’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree requiredExperience working with federal or local government agencies is a plusProactive problem-solving abilities
