Electronics Technician

Team members contribute to solutions that improve manufacturing performance and open new possibilities for product development.Role Description This full-time, on-site Electronics Technician role is based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Electronics Technician will assemble, install, and maintain electronic systems and equipment used in PulseForge’s applied energy manufacturing solutions. Daily activities include performing soldering work on circuit boards and components, wiring and cabling assemblies, and verifying functionality through testing and measurement tools. The role involves troubleshooting electrical and electronic issues, executing repairs and preventive maintenance, and documenting work performed and test results. The technician will collaborate with engineers and other team members to support system upgrades, ensure equipment reliability, follow safety procedures, and help maintain an organized lab and production environment.Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge in Electronics Technology and Electricity.Proficient Soldering skills for circuit boards, components, and cable assemblies.Hands-on experience with Troubleshooting electronic systems and diagnosing faults.Demonstrated ability in Maintenance & Repair of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.Attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Relevant technical certificate or associate degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Comfort working in an on-site industrial or lab setting and adhering to safety and quality standards.
