Our mission from day one has been to set the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and client service in the practice of radiology.Job SummaryVision’s Radiology Assistants provide administrative support for the Company’s diagnostic radiology clinical staff, clients, and technical support team.Please Note: This is a Remote, Night-Shift role, including Weekends and Holiday shifts. This remote position can be performed anywhere within the United States. A high-bandwidth, stable, and reliable internet connection is required. Part-Time Flex position (10-20 hours per week, plus coverage as needed)This part-time role is designed for individuals seeking a part-time position with the opportunity to earn additional hours each month. This role will receive 10-20 hours of scheduled shift work, with the possibility of additional hours to pick up coverage shifts or when additional capacity is needed. Role ResponsibilitiesAccept safety and quality of patient care, treatment, and services as a responsibility and priorityResponsible for answering phone calls from hospitals during peak hoursAssist with resolving any client questions/concerns that do not require a radiologistNotify radiologists or the appropriate Vision staff member (if applicable) with client questions to ensure issues are resolved in a timely mannerRe-fax and send HL7 (i.e., studies that a client is unable to locate)Partner with IT as needed to help troubleshoot any exams that are not coming throughMinor troubleshooting with our clientsReach out to the appropriate contact at the hospital to gather any information that may have been left out of the information sent over to VisionInform the Radiologists of high-priority studies (stroke, AI stat, ROB, ICH), change exam priority, and monitor to ensure they are read as soon as possibleInform Radiologist of follow-up study that belongs to themAssign and remove prior comparison studies on the list that were sent for comparisonQualifications And Education RequirementsAbility to work evening/night shifts requiredMinimum 1 year of Medical/Healthcare experience is requiredPrevious Technologist, Radiology Assistant, or imaging experience requiredPrior work experience in an administrative or customer service role preferredOther Skills And KnowledgeStrong written and verbal communicationStrong customer focus with excellent customer serviceStrong ability to multitask due to periods of high-volume workload on any given dayExcellent time management skillsAbility to act independently and make decisions that achieve optimal resultsProficient computer skillsTeam-oriented with the ability to work with all levels of managementAbility to work efficiently in a remote environmentCompany Benefits401(k) ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Discount ProgramsVariety of additional company perk programs (Health & Wellness, Learning & Development, etc.)
