Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Tailor located in New York, NY. The Tailor will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments to meet client specifications. Key tasks include analyzing and executing fittings, providing personalized customer service, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in tailoring and dressmaking. Attention to detail and maintaining a clean and organized workspace will also be important responsibilities. Qualifications Skilled in Tailoring and Dressmaking with a strong understanding of garment construction and fabricsProficiency in conducting accurate Fittings and making precise alterationsExcellent Communication and Customer Service abilities to collaborate with clients and understand their specific requirementsExceptional attention to detail, organization, and time managementPrior experience as a tailor or dressmaker is preferredBasic knowledge of operating sewing machines and associated toolsAbility to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
