Now Hiring PackersThe ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who is a critical thinker and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Job Title: PackerPay rate: $16.00Schedule: Monday Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) + OT as neededResponsibilities:Pack product according to work order specificationsPrint box and ribbon labels, while paying close attention to updating labels with the correct lot and date codesPlace ribbons on conveyor line to ensure continuous flow of goods through plastic wrapping machineMonitor heat tunnel temperature to ensure product is unharmedCorrectly label finished ribbons prior to packing into box, adhering to strict guidelines and proceduresEnsure product meets quality requirementsRemove defective product from the packaging lineNote changes to the packaging specificationPerform all other duties as assigned.Requirements:Ability to repeatedly lift 20-30 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 poundsPush utility carts up to 60 poundsMust be able to stand for long periods of time, as well as walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shiftsUse carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items aroundHigh School Diploma or GED preferredMust have a good command of the English languageMust possess positive interpersonal skills to perform effectively in a team environmentMust possess ability to work at a rapid pace.Ability to understand, follow, and apply operational and technical instruction, written and verbalAbility to solve basic math (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division)All candidates are required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check as a condition of employment.
