Occasional overtime could be needed with short notice.Salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $88,000.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.This position will ideally be a full-time, onsite position located at our client site in Manhattan, KS. If remote, weekly travel to project/client site is required.What You'll DoCoordinate, perform and oversee detailed field commissioning services, assessments, and studies for all types of facilities/systems including the following: laboratories, nuclear spaces, hospitals, clean rooms. Generate commissioning plans; write commissioning specifications; develop commissioning installation checklists and functional test procedures; verify and validate commissioned systems controls and equipment; document commissioning process, develop final commissioning report, and develop systems manuals.Required QualificationsA Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR a (2) Year Technical Associates Degree from an accredited institution with practical commissioning, controls, or testing experience.Must have a minimum of zero (0) to four (4) years or more experience in the commissioning of these systems:HVAC (air and hydronic),controls,plumbingDemonstrated Project Management experience.The client projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship.Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and be insurable under Merrick’s insurance carrier.Weekly travel to project/client locations is required.Desired QualificationsExperience in the commissioning of bio-containment laboratory facilities (BSL3, BSL3Ag, BSL4)Experience in the commissioning of these systems:laboratory equipmentfire protection,security, and/orelectrical systems.Experience in commissioning of other types of high-tech, mission-critical facilitiesExperience with HVAC controls systems and protocols (e.g. JCI, Siemens, ALC, BACnet, Modbus, etc)Experience with construction administrationLEED/Green Globes/Guiding Principles CompliancePE, CCP, BCxP, CxA, LEED APPERKSEmployee Owned - all eligible U.S. employees have an Employee Stock Ownership Account.Robust Employee Referral Program.Annual performance and compensation reviews.Professional Training and Development.Employee Recognition Awards.Peer Mentor ProgramAnd Much More!Additional InformationApply online only.
