Music Management & Outreach Intern (Hybrid)

Our team sits at the intersection of artist management, brand strategy, and business development. We pride ourselves on a hands-on approach, ensuring our artists have the tools they need to cut through the noise of the modern music landscape.The RoleThis is a high-impact, fully remote internship designed for a student or aspiring professional looking to build a resume in the music industry. You will work directly with our leadership team to execute campaigns that move the needle for our artists. Our goal is to provide a “learn by doing” environment where you’ll be able to get inside the inner workings of the music industry and begin building your own contacts and skills. Key Responsibilities:Radio & Press Outreach: Research and contact radio directors, blog curators, and journalists to secure coverage for upcoming releases.Direct Marketing: Assist in managing email marketing funnels and fan-engagement initiatives both online and IRL. Social Media Strategy: Help ideate and execute digital marketing plans across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.Correspondence: Manage professional communications with external partners, labels, and venues.Administrative Support: Maintain and update internal databases of industry contacts and media lists.QualificationsAge: Must be 21 or older. While the day-to-day work is remote, this role involves correspondence and potential attendance at nightlife venues and industry mixers that are age-restricted.Digital Fluency: You are comfortable working in a remote environment (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace) and have a sharp eye for social media trends.Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can pitch an artist’s story with passion and professionalism.Drive: You are a self-motivated individual who thrives without a manager looking over your shoulder.Passion: You will be dealing with stakeholders who are emotionally and financially invested in the arts. A baseline knowledge of popular culture/music/film/meme knowledge is a must. The UpsideMentorship: Regular 1-on-1 check-ins to discuss your career goals and the "inner workings" of indie music. Real Responsibility: You will be given ownership of specific outreach projects that contribute directly to an artist’s success.Networking: Gain exposure to a wide network of music industry professionals across the country.Flexibility: Work from anywhere while gaining high-level experience with a growing roster.
