What You’ll DoThe MRO Program Coordinator / Inventory Controller is responsible for the end-to-end management of a site-based spare parts and inventory control program. This role functions as the operational lead onsite, ensuring material availability, inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and seamless coordination between our Client, their clients, and supply chain partners.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational discipline, client-facing professionalism, and the ability to manage both people and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities include:Lead daily onsite operations supporting MRO spare parts management and inventory program executionOversee warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, staging, storage, and production supportManage inventory integrity through cycle counts, reconciliation, variance investigation, and obsolescence controlEnsure accurate material flow to support uninterrupted manufacturing operationsServe as the onsite liaison between client stakeholders and internal supply chain/procurement teamsAttend operational reviews and KPI meetings with client and internal leadership teamsMonitor and report on service levels, inventory accuracy, and operational performance metricsDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory or supply chain discrepanciesEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in a controlled environmentIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, process optimization)Act as escalation point for site-level operational issues and customer concernsSupport labor coordination and workflow prioritization to meet daily operational demandsRequired Experience & Skills3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or inventory leadership rolesStrong background in inventory control, cycle counting, and material management practicesExperience managing or supporting MRO, spare parts, or technical inventory (manufacturing/engineering environment preferred)Hands-on experience with ERP, WMS, or CMMS systems including SAP/OracleStrong client-facing communication skills with experience handling escalationsProven ability to lead operational processes and drive accountability in a site-based environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with forklifts or material handling equipment preferredValid driver’s license requiredNice to HaveDegree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fieldLean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experienceBackground in semiconductor, pharma, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environmentsExperience working in high-precision or cleanroom-controlled environmentsSuccess in This Role Looks LikeInventory accuracy consistently meeting or exceeding KPI targetsStrong client satisfaction and trusted onsite presenceReduced downtime due to material availability issuesEfficient warehouse and material flow processesProactive identification and resolution of supply chain disruptionsOngoing process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce wasteWork EnvironmentFully on-site role embedded in a manufacturing facilityActive warehouse and production support environmentRegular interaction with client stakeholders and operational teamsMay require occasional after-hours or weekend support based on operational needsTo apply for this position, click the link or send your resume to CHutchinson@OptiStaffing.com
