Nasson Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center with clinical sites in Springvale and Biddeford, Maine. We serve York County and neighboring communities through provision of fully integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care. Full or Part-Time Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management for patients with mental health and co-occurring conditions for adults, adolescents, and children. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans consistent with evidence‑based practices. Provide substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment. Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed. Adhere to FQHC standards, federal and state regulations, and clinical best practices. Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited medical school in the U.S., board certified or board eligible in psychiatry. Unrestricted Maine license to practice medicine. U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency registration with authorization to prescribe controlled substances. Experience working in an FQHC, community mental health center, or similar setting. Experience with telepsychiatry. Familiarity with trauma‑informed care and social determinants of health. Proficiency in the use of at least one ONC‑certified electronic medical record system and basic Microsoft applications. No active record on the System for Award Management (SAM) website. Show proof of immunity or have been immunized for MMR, Hep B, Influenza (required annually) and the COVID primary series.
