The best run DevOps teams in the world choose Perforce. Position SummaryAlex Perucchini, Manager, Vulnerability Management & Internal Audit is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join the Security Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in penetration testing, product testing, and threat modeling. The position will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks within Perforce products and infrastructure. Position will work closely with Perforce development teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesConduct penetration testing (and DAST scans) on web applications, networks, products, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and security weaknesses. Prepare the necessary documentation and reports with the findings and recommendations. Perform product security testing to assess the security posture of our products and recommend mitigation strategies. Develop threat models to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities in our systems. Work closely with the development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle. Stay up to date with the latest security trends and vulnerabilities to continuously improve our security posture. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security engineers. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field. Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Security/Cybersecurity preferred. Experience with Cloud Environments (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS (Amazon Web Services) - Amazon Web Services), and microservices Kubernetes or Docker) technologies. 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on penetration testing, product testing, and threat modeling. Ability to conduct code reviews Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies. Expertise using security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Metasploit, etc. Working knowledge of secure coding practices and security architecture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH or OSCP are a plus.
