JOB – Senior Process EngineerLOCATION – Austin, TexasTERM – Direct HireSALARY – $120,000 - $150,000My client – a leading engineering organization supporting large-scale industrial and advanced manufacturing projects – is looking for an experienced Process Engineer / Senior Process Engineer to join their team working on a major Semiconductor facility project near Austin, Texas.This is an excellent opportunity for a Process Engineer with experience supporting complex industrial environments, process systems design, and advanced manufacturing facilities to work on a high-profile project alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in process engineering design, P&ID development, equipment sizing, process system layouts, and supporting full project lifecycles within semiconductor, battery manufacturing, or similar high-tech industries.The Process Engineer / Senior Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution (Master’s preferred).• 7+ years of professional experience within process engineering.• Experience supporting semiconductor, display FAB, battery manufacturing, or other complex industrial facilities.• Strong understanding of process systems, control philosophies, P&ID development, and equipment design.• Experience with process equipment, piping design, system layouts, and commissioning documentation.• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar engineering design software.• Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards.• Professional Engineer (PE) License required.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.The Process Engineer / Senior Process Engineer’s duties will involve:• Performing detailed process engineering design and developing solutions for complex industrial environments.• Developing process flow diagrams, P&IDs, system layouts, equipment sizing, and technical specifications.• Supporting conceptual design through to construction documentation and project completion.• Providing engineering support during construction, installation, startup, and commissioning phases.• Working closely with Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Process Engineering teams to optimize facility solutions.• Applying engineering principles to solve complex process challenges within project requirements and industry standards.• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices across engineering processes.• Providing technical guidance and support to project teams.• Assisting with proposals, technical consulting, and client-facing engineering activities.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer / Senior Process Engineer to join a technically challenging project environment, working on one of the most advanced semiconductor developments in the region.
