Vice President, Market Strategy & Understanding (MSU)
The Market Strategy & Understanding Research (MSU) Service Line is a strategic research team that delivers contextual insights to help clients navigate dynamic markets. We provide data‑enabled counsel on market intelligence, opportunity assessment, and brand & portfolio strategy.
The MSU VP is a senior research and account‑management leader responsible for building and managing the MSU team, developing partnerships with internal Ipsos groups and external clients, and overseeing financial performance for a designated client portfolio based on geography, practice, and sector demand.
Skill Set Required
Strong experience with custom survey design, sampling plans, and analysis.
Experience ideally includes consumer, brand, and shopper insight research.
Experience designing research for both B2B and B2C audiences.
Global research experience is preferred.
Some exposure to qualitative research and behavioral science techniques.
Excellent communication skills; ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Ability to build strong client relationships, identify solutions, prepare proposals, and grow relationships over time.
Minimum ten years of experience in quantitative market research and consulting, with deep specialization in the Tech and Media sectors.

Salary & Benefits
Estimated base salary: $140,000 – $150,000. Final salary is determined by location, experience, and other non‑discriminatory factors.
