Document Control Program AnalystWe're seeking a Document Control Program Analyst to support large, heavy-civil infrastructure programs - including highways, roads, bridges, transit (including rail and bus), and airport projects delivered through both traditional and alternative methods. Your primary focus will be to support the maintenance and integrity of document control systems, while promoting workflow consistency and contributing to the development and implementation of unit policies, procedures, templates, and standards.
In addition, the Document Control Program Analyst supports the procurement, deployment, and organizational adoption of the client's enterprise-wide Document Control System, assisting the team in achieving operational readiness and alignment with established document control standards.
This is a long-term, full-time, hybrid (3 to 4 days in office) position located in Sacramento, CA.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Serve as a central coordination resource supporting alignment and communication among the Document Control Manager, Senior Document Controllers, the Business Analyst, and internal stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain internal meeting materials, summaries, trackers, reports, and reference documents and support internal communications and document routing.
Maintain and organize the unit's internal SharePoint site, document repositories, tracking tools, logs, templates, and desk manuals to ensure current, accessible, and version-controlled information.
Support the development and maintenance of documentation resources, including workflows, SOPs, forms, templates, metadata standards, naming conventions, and filing structures.
Maintain dashboards, workload trackers, metrics, and reports; compile and validate data to support KPI tracking, performance reporting, leadership communications, and audit readiness.
Assist with compliance and risk management activities, including maintaining the risk register, reviewing documents and workflows for standards compliance, and supporting audit documentation.
Develop and update process maps, job aids, training materials, and internal presentations to support onboarding, training, and consistent application of document control practices.
Support project coordination, continuous improvement initiatives, special assignments, and operational analysis by tracking workload trends, workflow impacts, and program needs while maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Public Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
5+ years document control experience on heavy civil highways, roads, bridges, airports, or transit projects.
Ability to support workflow coordination, documentation management, and data interpretation.
Proven experience with SharePoint and other document management tools (Aconex, Unifier, or similar).
Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio or equivalent.
Experience supporting projects involving document management systems or enterprise data solutions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Public Administration, or related field.
Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Jira, Confluence or similar software packages.
Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or other dashboard KPI reporting software.
Compensation Details:
The salary range listed for this role is $67k-$92k/year ($32-$44/hour). The final salary offered will be based on multiple factors and thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, geographic location, etc.
