Crew Member Position Summary:The Landscape Crew member performs a variety of landscaping tasks under the close supervision of the Operations Manager. Daily work may be performed at, commercial properties, parks, etc. A daily work schedule is created by the Operations Manager.Crew Member Responsibilities:Cuts grass (using either a riding or push mower), maintains lawn, trims and edges around trees, walkways, flower beds, walls, and markers.Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, and twigs and removes weeds.Sprays lawn, shrub, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides.Applies mulch as neededClears debris and maintains driveways and walkways in safe conditionSharpens tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shearAssists with the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.Cleans and properly stores equipment.Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.Must use required personal protective equipment (PPE).May be called upon to drive a truck with equipment and crew to all the work locations.Install & Construction employees specialize in installing plants, flowers and bushes according to a predetermined landscape design.This is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, and it may be changed at any time at the employer's request.Assist with site set up of plant materialsKeeps job site staging area clean and organizedPlants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubsAssist in keeping the job site tidy, organized and safeUse all installation tools according to company safety policyMaintains, cleans, and properly stores equipment.Other duties as required.Crew Member Qualifications:1-3 years Landscape maintenance experienceLegal authorization to work in the United StatesMust have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job siteValid State Driver's License with a clean driving record a plusOutworx Group and its family of companies is an EEO/AA Employer.
