This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and a deep understanding of machining processes, tooling, and program adjustments.Responsibilities:Perform complete setups on CNC Lathe machines, including tooling, offsets and program verificationInterpret blueprints, job travelers, and technical drawings to ensure accurate machine setupSet tool heights, speeds and feeds to optimize performance and qualityMake program edits and adjustments as needed to maintain tolerances and efficiencyWork with live tooling Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum 5 years of CNC Lathe setup experience requiredStrong knowledge of hands-on experience with life toolingProven ability to perform full machine setups independentlyAbility to read and interpret blueprintsExperience making program edits at the machineStrong inspection skills using micrometers, calipers, and gaugesBenefits and Perks:Up to $30/hr. based on experiencePaid holidays and vacation401(k) retirement contributionsMultiple healthcare plan options (Medical, Dental, Vision)Life, Accident, and Disability InsuranceYour New Organization:A well-established manufacturer specializing in precision machining and engineered components for a variety of industries, including aerospace and industrial applications.
