Dispatcher/Customer Service

Job Overview BASCO Appliances is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can provide excellent customer service, have attention to detail in a fast paced work environment. Daily dispatching of truck routes, resolving delivery issues with the customer. The position can be very stressful at times, being able to function effectively is key. The position is demanding of an organized person to move through tasks in an efficient and friendly manner. Interact face to face with will call customers daily. Core Responsibilities Answer the phone resolve delivery issues as necessary. Scheduling orders in the scheduling software, adherence to 2-day advanced pre-pull schedule. Calling, texting, and\or emailing customers to verify delivery address, including delivery schedule and payment. Processing customer payments Printing delivery and will call tickets for the warehouse Ability to multi-task and problem-solve The ideal candidate will possess the following: Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal Reliable, has a good attitude and is a team player Strong work ethic Ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently Required Experience dispatching 2 years in customer service field Associated Degree preferred Extremely proficient with MS Office Excel and Outlook Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Dispatching: 2 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Portland, OR 97210 (Required) Work Location: In person
