Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure guest health and safety. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred, with knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or OpenTable is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating hospitality and guest relations expertise. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; cash handling experience is a plus. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated during shifts. Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required based on business needs.
